Are mentorships worth the money?
Looking for a mentor in any chosen field can be a tricky process, but I strongly believe in learning from someone who is experienced and I’m happy to pay them for their time and expertise. I think most of us have had mentors all through our lives. Some have been friends or colleagues who have helped us in business or recreation.
When it comes to looking for a mentor in your field, such as business, Internet Marketing, Property or the Stock Market, you have to look at it as a business decision.
I have paid for mentorship in my property business, and that was well worth the money. What I learnt though my mentor saved me so much time and also a great deal of money.
Having said that, I did a lot of homework prior to paying for anything. My mentor came highly recommended from real people, not testimonials off a page, although they do help. I sat down with a few of the candidates before I decided who I would pay.
“Mentorship is not cheap, however, making stupid avoidable mistakes can be even more expensive”
One tip I can give you is to look for a mentor who actually gives a damm.. I have found that mentors that you pay, fall into two categories, those who are just doing it for the money and those who are thrilled to help others. Both, know the business but you can guess which one I’d prefer to pay…
